2025 EXTREME COWGIRL CHALLENGE
May 9-11, 2025
We are so excited to bring you this 3rd annual event.
Designed and hosted by Perry Quarter Horses, this first-of-its-kind TEAM event is for cowgirls who classically compete in Reined Cow Horse and/or Ranch Horse events. We aim to give these fantastic athletes and their horses a stage to show their stuff as part of a team.
All 75 riders complete individually in 4 preliminary events (Reining, Ranch Riding, Extreme Trail, & Cutting) to earn points for their team. Then all teams work together in a preliminary team event for additional points. The 5 teams with the most points come back to the finals - a cattle event.
The success of this event depends in part on the generosity of sponsors.

Youth Dummy Roping- Saturday, May 10th

OPEN TO ALL YOUTH!!!
It will start after the Cutting is over on Saturday - not before 6pm!!
There will be an open practice with help from the Martinez sisters (really handy cowgirls!) most of the day for youth who want practice and help.
2 Competition Divisions: 8 & Under and 9 to 14
2 Rounds and a Short Go.
Prizes through 3rd place, buckles to the first!

BREEDER’S INCENTIVE!!!!
We won’t be doing the Breeder’s Incentive this year. We needed a Minimum Number of Enrolled Stallions to Make Enough Riders' Horses Eligible, and We Didn’t Meet That Target.
